The Governing Board of the Zongo Development Fund is vested with oversight responsibility for the attainment of the objectives of the Fund as stipulated in the Zongo Development Fund Act, 2017 (ACT 964).

The Board issues general directives to the Chief Executive Officer of the Fund, who is obliged to comply with same under the Act.

Sarki Alhaji Salisu Maude, an entrepreneur and philanthropist is the current chairman of the Board.
