As part of intensified efforts at interfacing with key stakeholders, acting Chief Executive Officer of ZoDF, Alhaji Halidu Haruna, has interacted with the Turkish Community in Ghana.
At an Iftar (breaking of fast) programme organised by the Turkish Embassy at Maarif International School in Accra, the ZoDF CEO engaged Industrialists, Entrepreneurs, Diplomats, NGOs, Philanthropists, and Educationists on various areas of support and collaboration for the development of Zongo communities.
He extolled the contributions of the Turkish community to various areas and emphasised the importance of supporting ZoDF as a major initiative by the government to transform Zongo communities through development.
He noted that interventions by stakeholders in addition to statutory funding from the government would accelerate development in the over 4000 Zongos yearning for transformation.
His Excellency Huseyin Gungor, Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, hosted the Iftar programme.
